YUMMY SPINACH AND FETTA PULL APART

Ingredients

  • 3 cups plain flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons yeast
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 50g frozen spinach, defrosted, or baby spinach leaves
  • 150g feta cheese

Method

  • Step 1
    Add all of the ingredients aside from the spinach and cheese to a large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer.
  • Step 2
    Combine ingredients, then knead by hand or using a dough hook for around 10 minutes.
  • Step 3
    Place the dough in the bowl and cover with cling wrap. Sit the bowl in a warm spot for around an hour or until dough doubles in size.
  • Step 4
    Line the base of a spring form cake tin with baking paper.
  • Step 5
    Divide the dough into 12 equal portions, and roll each portion into a ball. Make an indent in each ball with your thumb, and fill with some spinach and cheese.
  • Step 6
    Fold the dough over the hole to cover and place in the cake tin.
  • Step 7
    Once all the balls of dough have been filled, dot the remaining spinach and cheese in between the dough.
  • Step 8
    Cover with cling wrap and sit in a warm spot for a further 30 minutes.
  • Step 9
    Bake the bread in the oven at 180c for 30 minutes.

    Eat warm or let cool either way it is delicious!
